ARTIST STATEMENT
In my practice, which explores the relationship between nature and humans, I strive to create an image of fantastical bioengineering in the realm of art.
I am interested in aspects of contemporary human activity from the perspective of natural structures and archetypes.
Drawing on classical symbols of nature as the primary sources of human contemplation, I attempt to reinterpret them, imbue them with new meaning and significance, and explore the similarities and differences between the natural world and our civilization.
I want to create a universe where an alternative symbiosis between humans and nature occurs.
In my work, I use such mediums as painting, graphics, sculpture, installation, video, and objects.
